Mid-Week Opportunities ....... or shall we call it "following Jesus Monday - Friday"?! Being a follower of Jesus is not just about worshipping on Sundays - it is about connecting your whole life to God. Mid-week opportunities for discussion and growing together are open to drop-ins, first timers and regulars. “Lift” Group = Living In Faith Together Ever feel like your walk with Jesus has become a slow crawl? Or you simply aren’t growing in your faith? One way to deepen our spiritual life is by Living In Faith Together. Join a LIFT group and meet with other companions in Christ! Our first LIFT group will begin on Monday, February 15 at 6:30pm at the home of Sarah Blair. Everyone is welcome to join in this weekly gathering. The group explores creative forms of prayer through art, scrap booking, journaling and all different expressions of prayer. The topic follows the Pastors’ sermon series on Prayer during Lent; and also draws from a book, Concerning Prayer. There is no homework; just bring a bible, an open spirit and willingness to be “lifted” in your walk - - and to “lift others in theirs! Arts - n - Crafts You'll never knit alone, again! (or sew, or paint, etc.) On Wednesdays, bring your sewing, scrapbooking, or knitting project to the fellowship hall and enjoy the company of others as you do your craft.
