Planning Your Wedding

Congratulations on your decision to marry and to bring this commitment before God, friends and family. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but don't lose sight of how God is at work in bringing all things to fulfillment. An important first step is to begin pre-marital counseling with a pastor. Olivet Church provides exceptional wedding services in our historical church's chapel in the heart of the Olivet neighborhood in Lusby, Maryland. Our sanctuary seats 120 people - and there is air conditioning for those hot summer weddings. There is an organ, a piano and a sound system which can integrate your CD's or taped music. Cost of the Sanctuary is $250 including the rehearsal time and an on-site coordinator.
Reception Area / Hotels
The Fellowship Hall is available at $100 per hour if you would like to hold your reception on site. It comfortably seats 75 for meals. However, we are just five miles from Solomons Island, where you will find reception venues at local hotels such at the Hilton Garden Inn and Holiday Inn Select Solomons.
Marriage License
